“. . . I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.”
There is a depth to God’s love that we cannot even begin to fathom!
Psalm 103:11 declares, “For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear Him,” (NIV).
God is calling you deeper.
How easy it is to have a surface relationship with Him. How easy it is for us to settle for glancing over the words in our Bible or in our daily devotional book without really allowing our hearts to dive deep into the heart of the message before us. I’ve been there friend! I lived there for a lot of years so I know—it doesn’t satisfy! It doesn’t heal! It’s surface… its religious.
It’s time to open up your heart and allow the word of God to cut deep, dividing soul and spirit!
Hebrews 4:12 says, “For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.”
The word of God is ALIVE! And thank God that it is! Otherwise it would be no more powerful than a dictionary full of words and definitions but lacking in any kind of power, unable to truly impact our lives and hearts.
Today I challenge you, move away from the ear tickling!
Don’t allow yourself to be satisfied with a mere scanning over of the Word of God. Be intentional with your time today, and each day forward. Approach the word of God as you would a physician when you are seeking answers. Be a seeker of truth and don’t settle for anything less!
My heart trembles as I write this today. As I think about how many are brokenhearted! So many inside and outside the church are hurting! Lost. Confused. Broken. Discouraged. DESPERATE!!
Well friend, God is your answer! He is your HOPE! He is calling you deeper today! He is calling you into intimacy and fellowship… true friendship! He is drawing you near into a personal encounter with HIMSELF!!
Read the word of God expecting to find the answers you seek and don’t stop until you feel a true inner peace that God has come near you and calmed your fears, your worries, your concerns.
Psalm 104:1 says He is robed in splendor and majesty. I am sensing that as you dive deeper into the Word of God and as you dive deeper into that special time in His presence… into true intimacy with the Father that He is going to take His robe of splendor and blanket you in it. He’s going to drape His spender over you and comfort you. You will rise up with a renewed sense of purpose, vision and identity! I proclaim that as a prophetic proclamation over all who are seeking, in Jesus Mighty Name!
Everything you need is at His feet. Humble yourself today, fall at His feet, dive deep into His love, and rise up bold and courageous having experienced true freedom in the manifest presence of your God! His heart overflows with LOVE for you… His beloved child.

Oh, Krissy! I needed this today. One of those days that feels like everything is falling apart. In the midst of holding it all together over forgotten the most important part – seeking Him and His word. Great to be reminded that I just need to spend some time at his feet! ❤

I “stumble” upon your ministry blog. Thank you. The word of God for me was that He would take me deeper into the ocean of His living waters. Where the trees were planted roots going deep with fruit and leaves. I realized like you mentioned that my relationship was not what I thought it was but God knows my heart. He has called me to radical obedience to obey like the angels do. So thank you for your words of courage and encouragement to be like Peter and never give up because of feeling less than qualified. I press in to remember that it’s what Jesus did for me that qualifies me and not what I do. So thank you Krissy. I will enjoy and receive your prophetic words as from the Lord for me.
