“Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.” —Luke 18:27

A few weeks ago on a Sunday morning I couldn’t wait for the altar call at church.

Ron Cantor was visiting and spoke a powerful, relevant word that cut right to the heart of the hour we are living in and the condition of our nation and culture. My heart was stirred. I could feel God wanting me to respond. But why? I didn’t know. As he finished his message he posed a question, “Where are those who aren’t afraid to take a stand” (at least that’s what I heard anyway). I knew what God was wanting me to do but I couldn’t imagine why He had His gaze fixed on me for this… none the less, I responded not to the altar call of a person, but to the commissioning and mandate I could feel heavy from the Father.

I nearly ran to the altar with tears streaming down my face.

As I lay there I could hear the Father saying to me in a stern yet loving commanding tone, “Krissy, it’s time to rise.”

“Ok,” I said simply and humbly as I wept and travailed before the Lord.

“Yes, Lord…”

I don’t know exactly what all this looks like nor do I need to. I just know that I believe God with all my heart when He says, “I have plans for you (Jer. 29:11).” I believe Him when He says, “I am no respecter of persons (Acts 10:34).” It doesn’t make sense to me in my limited mind why He chooses to use me, or any of us for that matter, to carry out His will and purpose on the earth, I just know that I believe when He says, “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways (Is. 55:8).”

If you feel God stirring you to step out into uncharted waters friend, I want to encourage you today to go for it! You’ll never know what your destiny looks like until you begin taking those faith flled steps of obedience. With fear and trembling we step out into the unknown with God.

The more we step into the unknown, the less we fear it.

The more we explore the realm of the impossible the more we realize our destiny is there… that its precisely the place God resides. As the Isrealites passed between the parted waters of the Red Sea they were able to see, feel and even touch the vastness of God’s impossible realm! They were able to look to the right and the left and see God’s mighty hands holding back the waters and forward they could see a hope and a future with Him. Though their enemies were swiftly approaching from behind at this point they were too captivated by God’s vast love for them to be afraid. It was as though God was saying to them, “I could have led you another way but any man could have done the same thing. I lead you to the banks of the impossible so you could experience my majesty first hand!

I know I write about this topic a lot but its in my heart!

Its critical we understand the mighty God we serve!

Its crucial in this dark hour we live in that we come into His presence daily to experience Him first hand!

Encounters with God are for each one of us in our everyday life!

Imagine, coffee with Jesus or lunch resting in the presence of Abba. Folding laundry while having fellowship with your King. And of course, those quiet, secret place moments where you intentionally set aside time to come into His presence and hear what’s on His heart. He has much to say to you friend… there is much He longs to reveal to you about your destiny. Time is short! So make time for Him, He’s waiting…

I love you,

Krissy

P.S. How can I be praying for you today?
