“For no matter how many promises God has made, they are ‘Yes’ in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.” —2 Corinthians 1:20
Your life has purpose. When God formed you in the womb He was knitting together every gift, talent and ability you would need to accomplish that which He created you for. As you grow in Him those gifts and talents also grow. The thing we need to remember is that even with our gfits and talents those are not enough to bring us into the destiny God has marked for your life. His plan will always bring you further than you can go on your own. His plan involves the impossible. And this is where many of us get stuck. We stop moving forward somewhere between the impossible and the realistic.
God wants to remind you today that all of His promises for your life are yes in Christ and Amen as you come into agreement with Him. The more impossible the promise the more glory God will receive as you walk out the call on your life! Our job isn’t to understand His call but to trust Him and simply say so let it be.
Strong’s Bible dictionary defines “amen”, original word: ἀμήν, as: verily, truly, amen; at the end of sentences may be paraphrased by: So let it be.
Do you feel like God has made you a promise that you have yet to see come to fulfilment in your life? It could be something in your family, your job, your ministry, or any combination of these. Regardless – today I want to encourage you to bring your “Amen” to the Father. Come before Him today in humility and love declaring with all your heart “amen”. Let your amen be the thrust you need to get your feet moving out of the “realistic” and into the impossible!
FRIEND, today let’s bring our “So let it be” to Jesus! God is saying “YES” to you today! Jesus is our eternal “YES” from the Father! Let the power of Christ in you rise up today and light a fire to your faith! Jesus said, “Nothing is impossible with God”! Those promises you are clinging to today — lift them up to God in JOY and declare your agreement! “So let it be!” God will bring it to pass friend. All of His promises are “yes” in Christ! And Jesus is ALIVE! He’s living in you! Be encouraged today and don’t let go of what God has spoken into your life.
TODAY: Agree with God’s plan for your life and rise in joy! Allow His promise to refresh and water your soul.
