It’s ok to shine.
It’s ok to hold your head high.
It’s ok to breathe and let go.
Let go of regret…
Let go of hurt…
Of guilt…
Of pain…
Simply let go and be still.
It’s ok…really.
As our verse for today says—The Lord will fight for you… you need only be still.
In other words: you don’t need to fight for you…
God already fought for you and the victory is yours!
Let go and be still.
Abandon the ship of striving and sail in the four winds of your savior who guides and leads you safely to dry land. A land of promise. A land of victory! A land of freedom! It’s the land of His rest and it is set aside for all who believe! For all who receive Him they have been given the right to become the children of God (John 1:12).
Do you hear the sweetness in that friend?!
As you receive Him you become His child and receive a package deal, Jesus, He’s your Savior, Friend, Deliverer, Healer, Restorer, Redeemer—He’s Holy, He’s Sovereign—as your heart wraps around Him as Lord of your life and you turn from your former ways you are a child of God, period.
No more holding on to the guilt and the shame of yesterday!!

“This is what the Lord says—he who made a way through the sea, a path through the mighty waters, who drew out the chariots and horses, the army and reinforcements together, and they lay there, never to rise again, extinguished, snuffed out like a wick: ‘Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.'” Isaiah 43:16-19 NIV
Embrace the new thing today!
Know that the new thing looks a lot like you letting go and accepting that when Jesus died on the cross He died as a conduit for your hurt, shame, sin, regret, and guilt! He bore it all upon Himself to literally save you.
Breathe Him in afresh and anew today.
